Hever TN8 7NG, England
Hever Castle is the childhood home of Anne Boleyn and is now a gorgeous tourist attraction in Kent. The Gardens aee stunning, probably prettier than Hampton Court Gardens.
We visited this lovely castle on a crisp Autumn Sunday. I have to say we were very lucky with the weather - you just cannot appreciate the Garden son a wet day so I was very thankful for the sunshine. Also, although it was a Sunday the place wasn't ridiculously busy (but the grounds are so big, you wouldn't notice if it was busy!)
The Gardens are something out of a fairy tale story and, in particular, the Italian gardens are marvellous. We walked round the lake and kicked the multi-coloured leaves. The house is beautiful but for me, paled in comparison to the luscious grounds. The place is an instagrammers heaven!
The only disappointing bit was the restaurant - the food and staff are quite bad. So maybe consider eating beforehand and just having an afternoon tea once you are there.
We will definitely be returning in the summer to see the Rose Garden in full bloom and hopefully check out the water maze! Highly recommend this attraction
Castle style edit
As it was a lovely Autumn day, I opted for a Missoni skirt along with a layered look of Zara tee, Iceberg denim jacket and Coast coat. Trainers from Prada and a shoulder bag from Fendi completed the look.
Lovely baby wore Sweater dress from Catherine Malandrino with matching cap. Her cozy winter coat was from John Lewis and boots from H&M.
