Spring formal with Marella dress
Fashion Weekend popup, Grand Connaught Rooms in London

Usually, I really enjoy fashion events but this was a waste of time as a pop up shop. If you attend for the fashion show, it is ok but not worth going just to see the pop up shop. The pop up comprised of a tiny little box room with a handful of designers showing their merchandise. No one was really buying or looking and it all looked rather sad to me. Not an event I would go to again.
However, I did discover a new brand - Marianna Harutunian who are jewellery designers and have done a lot of pieces for celebrities and shows including Pretty Little Liars. They are currently selling their jewellery through ETSY at:
So would recommend you to check them out. They do have some really nice statement pieces and their prices are not too bad.
Rome Shopping Find: Sandro Ferrone

One of the reasons I love Rome (apart from the art and the culture) is the shopping. You are bound to find new shops with innovative fashion ideas that eventually get copies by designers or high street shops. It is such a good city for fab fashion finds.
One of these is the brand Sandro Ferrone. I really liked the fur cuffs/bracelets they have. You can wear them with any outfit and it instantly looks elegant e.g. wear them with a black coat and it looks like the sleeves are fur lines. We will probably see the trend coming to the UK soon when high street copy it. Rome is just so original for new trends.
The clothes are also very reasonably priced and quite trendy. So definitely check it out when in Rome.
