M&M's World, Leicester Sq, London

M&M's World, Leicester Sq, London
Rating: 4 out of 5

I am not an M&Ms fan and I never buy it but I loved this place and I bought the chocolates!! It is such a fun shop with so much to look at - its tacky but in a fun way. The displays are really nice and you can take good selfies there!
The staff are very friendly and available to help.

I also bought their merchandise (really don't know why - the smell of chocolate in the air made me do it!) I now own an M&M blanket, a mug and a little backpack for baby! Why?! The items are actually quite expensive in the store, as well as the chocolates so not really worth buying!

It's a great place for kids. The bright colours and displays are so attractive for them (and adults!) but they will not leave without buying something!

Fashion Weekend popup, Grand Connaught Rooms in London

Fashion Weekend popup, Grand Connaught Rooms in London
Rating: 2 out of 5

Usually, I really enjoy fashion events but this was a waste of time as a pop up shop. If you attend for the fashion show, it is ok but not worth going just to see the pop up shop. The pop up comprised of a tiny little box room with a handful of designers showing their merchandise. No one was really buying or looking and it all looked rather sad to me. Not an event I would go to again.

However, I did discover a new brand - Marianna Harutunian who are jewellery designers and have done a lot of pieces for celebrities and shows including Pretty Little Liars. They are currently selling their jewellery through ETSY at:

So would recommend you to check them out. They do have some really nice statement pieces and their prices are not too bad.

Smashbox Contour Stick Trio

Smashbox Contour Stick Trio
Rating: 4.5 out of 5

These sticks are lovely - the shades are excellent and they are easy to blend (especially if you put a decent foundation or primer to even out your skin). They are good for day contouring but I would use liquid foundation for evening contouring look just for a better and more flawless finish.  They are quite expensive for a brand like Smashbox - I wouldn't say the quality matches the price plus they get used up pretty quickly which is annoying.  For a similar price, you can buy Clinique's twist up contour sticks and quality-wise these are far superior to Smashbox. Also you don't need to buy Clinique's sticks in a set - they are available for purchase individually.  So, overall, good product but:
1. I wish they sold the sticks separately
2. Not worth the price
3. Good finish for daytime look
