Cannes Shopping

CANNES SHOPPING
Of course the main location for shopping in Cannes is La Croisette where all the designers are located. However, I have chosen to review the less well known gems where you can find great buys from local sellers hence here are a selection of boutiques I highly recommend you check out.
District Boutique
17 rue des Etats unis
06400 Cannes

This is a lovely little boutique selling bespoke womenswear ranging from pretty sundresses to really well designed casual and evening dresses. They also sell a lovely range of python clutches and exquisite pieces of jewellery.
I would highly recommend you check this boutique out for unique pieces that will look amazing anywhere you wear them.

Cutie Dress for baby from District Boutique

Le Compagnie Des Petits

Cutest dresses from Le Compagnie Des Petits

Baby rocking a top from Le Compagnie Des Petits

This is a really cute shop  of children's fashion offering collections of clothing and accessories for children from 0 to 12 years. Everything they have is super cute and very different from other baby shops. We bought some very cutsie clothes for baby. Their service was also very nice - highly recommend it.

JP Paci - Artisan Chocolates
28 rue Hoche, Cannes

This is a very innovative chocolate shop in Cannes, just behind Rue D'Antibes. Beautifully presented chocolates decorate the shop demonstrating a true artisan chocolatier.  Loved it. Love the craftsmanship - they have chocolates shaped like fish, cheese, burgers, you name it! Lovely! The most artistic chocolates I have ever seen.

Cannes restaurants

FOOD

Le Pacific Express
6 rue du Suquet, 06400 Cannes, France

This is a lovely restaurant on the cobblestone street rue du Suquet. The food was amazing, service great and ambience just wonderful. Probably one of the best steaks I ever had!  The desserts were great - my Tiramisu was heavenly but the pineapple carpaccio was just thin slices of pineapple - I was expecting a carpaccio-like pineapple! However, the rest of the food more than made up for it. Highly recommend this restaurant.

Carlton Restaurant
58 La Croisette, Hotel InterContinental Carlton, Cannes

This was the first restaurant we went to for lunch while in Cannes. The food was lovely - my chicken sandwiches were very fresh and cooked to perfection. The service was great. The décor was chic and elegant without being over the top and the atmosphere was buzzing with lovely ambience. Highly recommend it.

Le Bistro Croisette
13 rue Commandant Andre, 06400 Cannes, France

This is a prime location restaurant and looks very nice but sorry to say the food was well below average and not worth the price at all. Pizza was tasteless and the pasta was anything but Italian. The staff were ok - service average. Basically average and would not recommend.

El Charq

Tasty Mezza

This a lovely Lebanese restaurant near the Croissat, behind Martinez hotel. In addition to the restaurant, they also have a take away across the road.  Their shawarma, rice, hummous and stew dishes are excellent but their pastries are average. Overall the food is tasty; juices are great and fresh and service is good. Other take out options are available with lots of choice. Highly recommend it.
