Afternoon Tea at the Mirror Room, Rosewood Hotel, London

Afternoon Tea at the Mirror Room, Rosewood Hotel, London

We went for afternoon tea/lunch at Rosewood Hotel's Mirror Room for my dad's birthday. Everything was lovely! I could not have picked a better place to celebrate my dad's birthday. Not only is the venue stunning, the staff are super friendly and  helpful and the restaurant is very child friendly.

The food was exquisite and the afternoon tea was just as advertised and tasted even better than expected. The pastries are really works of art and are ever so light and fluffy. Absolutely delicious.  The sandwiches and scones from the afternoon tea were divine.

I chose to have club sandwich rather than the afternoon tea and it was probably one of the best club sandwiches I ever had (no joke but no one ever seems to get the club sandwich right!)

I want to reiterate again that the service was fantastic and I feel so bad that my little baby made a tiny mess around her chair! However, the staff were ever so nice about it!
I will definitely be going back there!

In addition to the lovely Mirror Room, I think Rosewood is such a pretty hotel for pics (though I don't think my photos do justice to the real thing!)

Orso Restaurant, Covent Garden

Orso Restaurant, Covent Garden
27 Wellington Street, London WC2E 7DB

I found this restaurant in Bookatable app as I was looking for Italian cuisine. The restaurant has friendly staff and the food is lovely and very homely as well as being quite authentic. The pasta was amazing and a la dante. The starters were delicious and the chocolate and caramel torte was one of the best I ever had I think!

The restaurant is very reasonably priced for the location and totally worth it. Also, very important, the toilets are so pretty and VERY clean!

Would definitely go again

Style of the day

After dinner we took a stroll through Covent Garden and of course stopped to get chocolates at Hotel Chocolat

I also found the prettiest floral swing to take pics in!

For the night, I wore a star pattern dress from Denim & Supply by Ralph Lauren and coupled it with black boots and a red quilted handbag (both from Chanel)
